Best Western Amazon - Athens

Location is perfect, near from syntagma plaza, it's convinient to go everywhere including airport

It's not easy to find that hotel, too small. If I arrived there at night, I couldn;t have found that hotel.

The young man at reception, Sotiris, was exceptionally helpful, giving us maps, repeated directions and suggestions to make our sightseeing go well. We really appreciated how pleasant he was. The location of the Amazon is excellent for

No facecloths, but we found that this is common in Greece and Italy. Bring your own or buy one of the many sponges in the market.

It was clean and the locatio was perfect

Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi in the room. Good location - near to Syntagma square.

Bad soundproofing - we heard sounds from neighbor room. Bad ventilation - a cigarette smoke came to our room from outside.

Very good location, easy access to airport

Loved the location in the heart of the Plaka district, and the ease of finding it from the metro. I'm the kind of person who gets hopelessly lost, and I was all alone for this last night in Athens. But I found it without a hitch!

Well, the worst thing I can say about it is that it definitely has that impersonal "chain" hotel feeling. But really, my stay was very satisfactory.

Price - Location - Staff - Cleanliness - Breakfast Surely best hotel in Athens (Plaka) for under 100$.

The location is optimum, walking distance to Syntagma square, plaka area where there are many restaurants and traditional products shops and the elegant shopping area of Athens, where all brands are present. Airport bus is very near to the hotel, as well as Syntagma metro station, so easy access from/to airport.

Reception area in very small for a three stars hotel, as you have no please for more than two persons. Lifts are very small, as well.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel from 11 to 16 November 2012 and we were quite impressed by Cleanliness. Friendly reception and quick attention by the reception and room staff. Special mention should be made about Anastasia,Christos. Sotris,Dimitry of the reception and Dorina and Caroline of the room staff who were very friendly and obliging It was a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere

very good hotel with best location, in the city center and also quite near (walking distance) to acropolis, breakfast good, facilities good, friendly staff, will go there again!

Location. Walking distance to the Syndagma transport hub but also walking distance to Acropol and all other historical sites. Suitable for Athens Marathon runners.

Bed, pillows and blanket pretty basic, it could be a bit better. Also the air condition was a bit difficult to control and noisy.

It is excelelnt value for money and the staff are very attentive, friendly and flexible. Plus it is in the heart of Athens - very well connected to everything!

The only English language channel they have on TV is barely visible because of antenna problems. The breakfast is quite basic.

The location was great for exploring many of athens sites and the staff was very helpful with maps and suggestions. They also printed boarding passes and helped arrange transportation to the airport during the taxi strike.

The location is very strategic in the city. It is near to shopping district area in Syntagma and Karameikos. Walking distance to the Parliament House and Plaka. The room was clean and very comfortable. Overall is ok.

The staff is not very friendly. They need to improve their communications with the customer.
